How We Evaluate Childcare
We don't recommend a program based on a website, online reviews, or a quick phone call. We go inside, ask questions, observe, and look at childcare through the eyes of both experienced professionals and parents.
We Visit in Person
We personally tour each program, walk the spaces, meet leadership, and see the environment firsthand.
We Ask the Hard Questions
We dig into the things that matter —ratios, turnover, supervision, discipline, daily routines, outdoor time, illness practices, staff support and more.
We Look Through a Child's Eyes
Beyond beautiful classrooms and impressive curriculum, we look at relationships, expectations, play, emotional safety and what it actually feels like to be a child there.
We Make the Call
We consider the entire picture before deciding whether a program is one we're comfortable recommending to families.
